On 5th October 2021, we arranged a lab trip to the amazing AQUATIS in Lausanne to immerse ourselves in a journey on the five continents to discover the main freshwater ecosystems. Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania and America... it was indeed an exceptional journey!

On the 6th December 2019, our lab celebrated the X-Mas and the New Year 2020 by meeting in the tower room of Bern Minster. Prof. Martin Bachmann presented a short review of the lab's achievments in 2019 followed by an Apero and a tour in the Minster. The celebration was ended by a fancy dinner at Restaurant Verdi. 

On December 11, 2023, our team gathered to celebrate the Christmas of 2023. During this gathering, Prof. Bachmann reflected on the achievements of our group in the past year. Key highlights included our success in securing scientific grants and publishing numerous influential papers. We also celebrated the academic milestones of our students, with one earning a Master's degree and three achieving their Ph.D. degrees in our lab. Additionally, we extended a warm welcome to the new members who have recently joined our laboratory team. As we close this eventful year, we extend our heartfelt wishes for a happy and prosperous 2024 to everyone.
